Four Hays County residents were among the 28 law enforcement cadets that recently graduated from the Capital Area Council of Governments Regional Training Academy's Basic Peace Office Course.
“We are pleased to have a 92 percent pass rate on the licensing exam, Mike Jennings, director of the CAPCOG Regional Training Academy, said. “The RTA's pass rate hasn't been lower than that in five years.”
Those graduating from the CAPCOG peace officer training program included: William Burleson of San Marcos; Daniel Castillo of Martindale; Kassondra Lysek of Kyle and Samuel Smith of Dripping Springs.
