The Right Step opens new Wimberley facility

Open since September, The Right Step Hill Country located in Wimberley is a comprehensive center for healing and recovery offering compassionate, affordable chemical dependency treatment on a scenic eight-acre campus. Amenities include separate cottages for men and women, a swimming pool, putting green, work-out room and volleyball court.

The Wimberley facility can accommodate 32 men and women ages 18 and up and offers a 30-day residential inpatient program as well as outpatient and aftercare services. Additional intensive outpatient programs are offered in South Austin and North San Antonio. The Right Step accepts most insurance programs and offers a two year track of recovery maintenance.

Sub acute detoxification is administered though a fully licensed unit operating under the guidance and direction of medical director, William Joe McCreight, MD. Clients receive round-the-clock nursing care while safely withdrawing from all mood-altering chemicals. In addition to a licensed nursing team, professional counselors provide group and individual support through 12 Step based programming and a variety of mind/body/spirit activities.

The Right Step (TRS Behavioral Inc.) is based in Houston and has more than 20 locations throughout Texas, Louisiana and New Mexico.
