Hays County indictments

San Marcos — The Hays County Grand Jury issued more than four dozen indictments in the panel’s November meeting.

The individuals and charges against them are:

• Felix Kevin Halfmann, 20, of 124 Pintail Lane: Criminal solicitation of a minor (aggravated sexual assault of a child), first degree felony, occurred Aug. 15.

• Thomas Jackson Sloane, 30, of 2828 Lakeshore Drive, Canyon Lake: Burglary of a building, state jail felony, occurred Oct. 15.

• Maura Ann Calderon, 23, of 1101 Field Street: Abandoning a child, two counts, state jail felony, occurred Aug. 28.

• Justin Taylor Moore, 20, of 110 Ladybird Lane: Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, first degree felony, occurred Sept. 9.

• Mark Anthony Calderon, 32, of 191 Bradford Street, Buda: Aggravated robbery, first degree felony, occurred Feb. 25; aggravated robbery, first degree felony, occurred Sept. 19.

• Gaelyn Chase Hardin, 17, of 3016 Oak, Groves: Aggravated sexual assault of a child, first degree felony, occurred Aug. 16.

• Macario Suarez Jr., 38, of 803 Sturgeon Drive: Aggravated sexual assault of a child, second degree felony, occurred Sept. 10.

• Gonzalo Natal, 55, of 2917 Hunter Road: Assault with injury/family violence, third degree felony, occurred Aug. 10.

• Jose Castillo, 24, of 1945 Spruce Street: Assault on a public servant, third degree felony, occurred Oct. 3.

• Justin Auvenshine, 18, of 301 County Road 439, Deleon: Burglary of a building, state jail felony, occurred Aug. 10.

• Jesus Jair Garcia-Segunda, 24, of Railyard Drive, Kyle: Burglary of building, state jail felony, occurred Sept. 28.

• Hector Israel Tello, 23, of 117 Railroad, Kyle: Burglary of building, state jail felony, occurred Sept. 28.

• Jessica Lauren Baker, 18, of 9809 Roxanna, Austin: Burglary of habitation, second degree felony, occurred June 17.

• Kevin Andrew Coxwell, 19, of 1016 Stassney, Austin: Burglary of habitation, second degree felony, occurred June 17.

• Fawn Ann Gregg, 18, of 10700 C Signal Hill Road, Austin: Burglary of habitation, second degree felony, occurred June 17.

• Ricky Duane Weldon, 28, of 1701 Aquarena Springs Drive: Injury to a child, third degree felony, occurred July 30.

• Alexis Martinez Rodriguez, 20, of 301 Witte, Kyle: Intoxication assault, two counts, third degree felony, occurred June 7.

• Miranda Michelle Martinez, 22, of 1323 South Port Drive, Austin: Intoxication manslaughter, second degree felony, occurred April 3.

• Fabian Fidel Luna: Possession of cocaine, less than one gram, in a drug free zone, occurred Sept. 24.

• Andrew Vincent Lee Samaniego, 23, of 1818 Ranch Road 12: Possession with intent to deliver alprazolam, 28 grams or more but less than 200 grams, second degree felony, occurred Sept. 27.

• Alan Garza, 22, 1250 Sadler Drive: Possession of cocaine, four grams or more but less than 200 grams, first degree felony, occurred Aug. 29.

• James Christopher Miranda, 27, of 82 2nd Street, Maxwell: Possession with intent to deliver cocaine, four grams or more but less than 200 grams, first degree felony, occurred Aug. 23; possession with intent to deliver, cocaine, one gram or more but less than four grams, second degree felony, occurred Sept. 23.

• Oscar Lopez Capetillo, 57, of 917 Gravel Street: Possession with intent to deliver, second degree felony, occurred Sept. 23.

• Brittany Kay Gillen, 21, of 2707 Edenborough Drive, Arlington: Possession of cocaine less than one gram, state jail felony, occurred Sept. 19.

• Deana Lauren Pinales, 18, of 147 Dolly Street: Unlawfully carrying a weapon in a weapon free zone, state jail felony, occurred Oct. 5.

• Kenneth Charles Smith, 33, of 5302 Towser Court, Austin: Possession of cocaine, less than one gram, state jail felony, occurred July 29.

• Alexander Brian Valdez, 21, of 1975 Aquarena Springs Drive: Possession of cocaine, less than one gram, state jail felony, occurred Sept. 6.

• Lindsey Paige Kendrick, 25, of 516 Lazy Lane: Possession of cocaine, less than one gram, state jail felony, occurred Aug. 4; endangering a child, second degree felony, occurred Aug. 4.

• Brian Joseph Lamar, 21, of 5935 Dacy Lane, Buda: Possession of cocaine, one gram or more but less than four grams, state jail felony, occurred Sept. 9.

• Scott Burton Koehler, 54, of 688 Martindale Road: Possession of methamphetamine, less than one gram, state jail felony, occurred Sept. 20.

• Christopher Lee Castaneda, 28, of 400 Barton, Liberty Hill: Possession of marijuana, five pounds or more but less than 50 pounds, third degree felony, occurred Sept. 11.

• Kevin Glenn Lewis, 24, of 905 W. First Street, Lampasas: Possession of marijuana, five pounds or more but less than 50 pounds, third degree felony, occurred Sept. 11.

• Gustavo Trevino, 28, of 223 Buttercup Street: Possession of marijuana, four ounces or more but less than five pounds, state jail felony, occurred July 21.

• Heather Dawne Parks, 34, of 391 River Grove Road, Fentress: Prescription fraud, third degree felony, occurred Aug. 22.

• Robert W. Biege, 48, of 14400 S. Green Hills Loop, Austin: Stalking, third degree felony, occurred July 29.

• Macario Suarez Jr., 38, of 803 Sturgeon Drive: Tampering with physical evidence, third degree felony, occurred Sept. 25.

• Margaret Hernandez, 35, of 421 Wavell Street: Theft under $1,500 with two prior convictions, state jail felony, occurred Sept. 25.

• Anastacio Soto III, 27, of 802 Patton Street, Seguin: Theft with two prior convictions, state jail felony, occurred Oct. 3.

• Diana Petra Sierra, 34, of 151 White Bluff Drive, Kyle: Theft under $20,000, state jail felony, occurred July 25.

Grand jury indictments are not findings of guilt but rather reflect the opinion of jurors that there is sufficient evidence in each case to warrant trial.

  • Narvaiz won’t seek fourth term

    San Marcos Mayor Susan Narvaiz said Wednesday she will not seek re-election to a fourth term in November.
    “After months of thought and prayer, I have decided not to seek another term as Mayor of San Marcos,” Narvaiz said in a released statement. “I am incredibly grateful for the support of our community, the dedication of city staff, the hard work by the city council and the great achievements of the past eight and a half years of my service to the city.”
