San Marcos — San Marcos voters sent a clear message to City Council on Nov. 4 that public opinion favors extending the legal hours alcoholic beverages can be served in the city.
Now, it’s the council’s turn to take that expression and turn it into policy.
City Council will discuss the issue of extending on-premise consumption during a workshop meeting at 6 p.m. on Tuesday in its chambers at City Hall.
At the conclusion of their discussion, the public will again get a chance to speak to the issue.
The workshop precedes the regular council meeting at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
