Don’t forget to bring yourself, and your well-behaved furry friend, to the annual Pet Fest tomorrow at San Marcos City Park.
Events kick off at 8 a.m. with the 5K Run/Walk. The all ages Fun Runs will start at 9 a.m.
The awards for the 5K are Paw Print medals. Dogs even have the opportunity to win a medal. All proceeds will be used by PALS of Central Texas to provide pet spay/neuter services to those who need assistance.

1:30 p.m. - “A Kid’s Best Friend” Costume Contest (human age 16 & under)
2 p.m. - Pet/Guardian Look-Alike Contest
2:30 p.m. - Break for 15 minutes
2:45 p.m. - “My Name Should Be in Lights” Costume Contest (human Age 17 & over)
3:15 p.m. - Best Rescue Story Contest (back by popular demand)
3:30 p.m. - “Team Work” Costume Contest (3 or more in team,
Can be mix of pets & People)
4 p.m. - Weenie & Chihuahua Races
