Central Texas Medical Center (CTMC) has announced that Wimberley Diagnostic Clinic is now Central Texas Medical Associates (CTMA) Wimberley.
CTMA is a primary care doctor’s office created by Central Texas Medical Center (CTMC) to serve families in San Marcos, Kyle and now Wimberley. Janet Strickland, M.D., Internal Medicine and Eric Price, M.D., Family Practice, will see patients at CTMA Wimberleyat 950 FM 2325, Suite B.
“We are thrilled to expand the CTMA family so we can serve Wimberley, “ Fransisco Hernandez, M.D., CTMA medical director, said. “Drs. Strickland and Price are board certified primary care physicians who have years of experience providing quality care to patients.”
Strickland holds a Board Certification in Internal Medicine. She is a graduate of the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, where she also completed her residency.
She began her practice in 1975 and most recently practiced with Wimberley Diagnostic Clinic.
“This is a wonderful opportunity to continue my service in Wimberley,” Strickland said. “I look forward to joining CTMA and continuing to do what I’ve done for the past 30 years with the added support and resources of Central Texas Medical Center.”
Eric Price, M.D. will join Strickland in Wimberley on Nov. 15. Price is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and the U.T. Southwestern Medical School in Dallas.
He holds a Board Certification in Family Practice and most recently practiced in Portland, Oregon.
Drs. Strickland and Price are now accepting new patients.
They offer annual check-ups, annual screenings, management of diabetes and hypertension and treatment for minor emergencies.
