— A resident of a San Marcos home that a man burst into looking for drugs last fall has been indicted on drug charges, including a first degree felony.

Beau Alan Stanley, 25, of 733 Oscar Smith Drive, was indicted this month on first-degree possession of psilocin with intent to deliver, on second-degree possession of lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD), and on possession of methamphetamine, a state jail felony.

Stanley was in the home on Oct. 22 of last year when Denis Andrew Nefedov, then 21, burst in. Nefedov, who reportedly had a BB gun, was shot three times by someone in the home that police have not named. Nefedov escaped, and was arrested after he showed up at Central Texas Medical Center for treatment of his wounds.

Stanley was arrested in December after the San Marcos Police Department and the Hays County Narcotics Task Force executed a search warrant at his home. Stanley spent one night in jail and was released on surety bonds totaling $22,500.

Nefedov was indicted for burglary in December.

Also this month, a woman who was at the home with Stanley at the time was indicted for second-degree felony possession of psilocin. The listed address for Haven Dennise Seward, 22, is 1000 Chestnut.

Grand jury indictments are not findings of guilt but reflect the opinion of jurors that there is sufficient evidence in each case to warrant trial.
