The following individuals were indicted by the Hays County Grand Jury during its August meeting:

• Adrian Allyn Markham, 36, of 1113 Debbie Court: Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, two occurred Feb. 14, second degree felony.
• Juan Antonio Miranda, 28, of 801 River Road: Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, occurred June 22, second degree felony.
• Geraldo Batres Perez, 27, of 287 Rolling Meadows, Kyle: Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, occurred July 3, second degree felony.

Grand jury indictments are not findings of guilt but rather reflect the opinion of jurors that there is sufficient evidence in each case to warrant trial.
