City breaks ground on $9.3 million Rio Vista Terrace project

San Marcos — Neighborhood residents and city of San Marcos officials broke ground this week on the $9.3 million Rio Vista Terrace Improvement project.

The two-year project will provide new waterlines, wastewater lines, storm drains, sidewalks, curbs, gutters and streets in the neighborhood of 300 families and 25 businesses.

Construction by Texas Sterling will begin on Monday.
