— Some lucky couples in San Marcos will walk away with more than $1,000 in gifts just for telling the Record how they keep Romance Alive in their relationship.

It’s easy to win. All you have to do is submit a letter to the Record by 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 7.

The Love judges at the newspaper will judge the letters, and on Valentine’s Day, everyone will find out who is the most romantic couple in the area.

The gifts include a $350 stay at Embassy Suites which includes two spa sessions; three dozen roses to be given away by The Scarlett Rose worth $300; six dozen Custom Dipped Strawberries from HEB worth $120; three dinners for two from Texas Roadhouse worth $135; and a $100 gift certificate from Ernesto’s Jewelry.

Just keep your letter less than two pages long and bring it to the San Marcos Daily Record, 1910 IH-35 South, by 5 p.m. on Tuesday.
