Authorities have identified a body found in the back of a truck by New Braunfels police last week as that of Walter Capello, 35, of Lockhart.
They have also announced four suspects in the case, two of which were taken into custody when Capello’s body was discovered.
Charged in the death are San Marcos residents Johnny Gilbert Solis Jr., 45, and Nemesio Garcia Jr., 31, and Wimberley resident Eloy Davila Jr., 52.
Still sought is Paul Tovar, 42, of San Marcos. He is described as a Hispanic man approximately 185 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes. “He is known to stay in and around the San Marcos area,” said Hays Sheriff’s spokesman Mike Thielen.
Thielen said Tovar’s vehicle was found abandoned in San Antonio.
Tovar is to be considered armed and dangerous, Thielen said.
Authorities are seeking information as to his whereabouts. Tips can be directed to the Hays County Sheriff’s Office at 393-7418; callers who wish to remain anonymous can contact Crime Stoppers at (800) 324-TIPS.
