Motorists who regularly use Hwy. 80 to get to and from San Marcos should be prepared for delays in the coming weeks.
A resurfacing project for approximately 11.7 miles of the roadway began this week. According to the Web site of the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) the project is expected to take 58 days.
The site says the $3.7 million project, which goes from just inside the Caldwell County line to Fentress, is being partially funded by the federal Economic Stimulus.
