Martindale — Residents of Martindale will soon have the opportunity to make their vehicles less attractive to thieves.
On Friday, Sept. 18, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Combined Auto Theft Task Force will offer Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) etchings across the street from the Martindale Post Office.
The etching takes five to 10 minutes, and is a free service from the Sheriff's Combined Auto Theft Task Force.
For information, contact Lori Drive, the Public Awareness coordinator with the Sheriff's Combined Auto Theft Task Force at (512) 854-9735.
