EL PASO, Texas (AP) — El Paso is building 32 electric car charging stations around the city.
City officials who announced the project Tuesday say the plan is being funded with a $256,000 federal grant to promote alternative fuel use for government vehicles.
Thirteen other Texas cities also won similar grants.
City officials say the charging stations will be the first in West Texas.
