Local partners joining together to collect items for troops
San Marcos —
Prime Outlets is saying thank you to local heroes by collecting and donating items of need to military personnel in active duty overseas.
During the month of July, donate non-perishable goods and items of need and receive a complimentary VIP Coupon Book, worth hundreds of dollars in savings, Prime Outlets officials said this week.
Present your military, police, firefighter, emergency services personnel or related support staff ID at Guest Services for exclusive savings.
Monday, July 26
Join Prime Outlets at Pluckers Wing Bar in San Marcos on Monday, July 26 for a wing fest benefiting the Local Heroes Campaign.
The first 100 customers to eat at Pluckers will receive a $5 Discover backed Prime Outlets gift card*.
At 6:30 p.m. Prime Outlets - San Marcos will host a wing eating contest** and the winner will receive a $200 Prime Outlets gift card and a $25 Pluckers gift card.
Pluckerswill donate 20 percent of food sales (excludes alcohol) to the Support Our Local Heroes campaign.
*Customers will receive a $5 gift card when they make a food purchase of $10 or more.
**Contestants must purchase all you can eat wings for $14.99 to enter the wing eating contest.
