Rocha, Alvarez engagement

Mr. and Mrs. George Rocha of Martindale are pleased to announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Carmen Jean Rocha to Joseph Alvarez son of Mr. Gary Alvarez, Sr. and Mrs. Lillian Luna, stepparents Mr. Rudy Luna and Mrs. Sarah Alvarez all of San Marcos.

Carmen is a graduate of San Marcos High School and Texas State University with a Bachelors of Liberal Arts Degree in Public Administration. Carmen is currently employed with the Hays County Auditor’s Office.

Joseph is a graduate of San Marcos High School and Texas State University with a Bachelors of Liberal Arts Degree in History-Secondary Education. Joseph is currently employed as a High School Teacher with the Round Rock Independent School District.

The couple will be united in marriage on June 20, 2009 in Martindale and reception will follow in San Marcos.
