Caughlin Arredondo

Jaqueline Nicole Caughlin became the bride of Daniel E. Arredondo on Sept. 20, 2008 in a double ring ceremony at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Kyle. 

Jaqueline is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles P. Caughlin of Temple. She is the granddaughter of Mary Caughlin of Temple and the late Charles B. Caughlin, Jr., and the granddaughter of Billy Mancillas of Temple and the late Phyllis Mancillas. Daniel is the son of Mrs. Baudelia Arredondo of San Marcos and the late Johnny J. Arredondo. 

Revs. Larry Heimsoth of Temple and Gilbert Gomez of Kyle officiated. Music was by the Mariachi Tamazula. 

The bride was given in marriage by her father. She wore a ivory and champagne-colored gown with lace up corset back designed by Alfred Angelo with accented embroidery, pearl and crystal beading on the gown and cathedral train. 

Maid of honor was Nikki Mancillas of Henderson, Nevada.  Bridesmaids were Charity Ferguson of Temple, Marcelina Vasquez of San Marcos, Ann Winans of New Braunfels and Diana Gonzales of San Marcos.

Best men were Jonathan Arredondo of San Marcos and Randy Herzog of Seguin. Groomsmen were Eddie Howard of Houston, Daniel Castillo of Seguin, Wayne Winans of New Braunfels and Jeff Kunze of Houston. 

Flower girls were Sophia and Elena Gonzales of San Marcos.

Ushers were Bryan Caughlin of Hewitt and Martin Gonzales of San Marcos.

The reception was held at the San Marcos Activity Center.  After a wedding trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico the couple will reside in San Marcos.

The bride is a graduate of Temple High School and Blinn College where she obtained a degree in Early Childhood Development. She is employed by Salvatore Ferragamo in management position. The groom graduated from San Marcos High School and is employed with the San Marcos Police Department in Community Services.

The bride and groom hosted the rehearsal dinner at Los Cucos in San Marcos.
