Jasek, Colburn wedding


— Tanee Jasek and Billy Colburn were married on Dec. 5, 2009 at the Kocian Building in Hallettsville. Minister Kyle Horton officiated at the double ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of George and Diana Jasek of Moulton. She is the granddaughter of Julia Jasek and the late George Jasek and the late Edward and Annie Liebicher.

The groom is the son of Bill and Sandra Colburn of Martindale. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. William B. Colburn and the late Carl and Elsie Deviney.

The bride’s sister, Tia Meisetschleager and brother-in-law John Meisetschleager and the groom’s sister Cyndie Colburn served as witnesses.

Melanie Mikulencak and LaSae Rother attended as matrons of honor. Serving as bridesmaids were Nicole Jaime, Erin Jansky and Stacy Wagner. Tristan Meisetschleager, the bride’s niece and Savannah Colburn, daughter of the groom, attended as flower girls. Trenton Meisetschleager, the bride’s nephew, served as ring bearer.

Jeff Bolton served as best man. Chris Barnes, Ray Martinez, Steven Jewell and Rob Eggling all served as groomsmen.

The bride is a 2001 graduate of Moulton High School and a 2007 graduate of UT Health Science Center San Antonio. Tanee is currently employed at Oak Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation as an occupational therapist.

The groom is a 1990 graduate of San Marcos High School and a graduate of San Antonio Fire Academy. Billy is currently employed by the city of Round Rock Fire Department as a lieutenant. He is also a graduate of the Hays County Sheriff Academy and is employed by San Marcos Marshall’s office.

Following a honeymoon in St. Lucia, the couple will reside in Martindale.
