Mr. and Mrs. Roy Mendoza proudly announce the marriage of their son, Mr. David R. Mendoza to Miss Juribe Intaligando Barbajo, daughter of Mr. Julie Barbajo and Mrs. Riza Intaligando.
The nuptials were held Saturday, April 3, 2010 at the Juan Veramendi Plaza in San Marcos, TX. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Gary L. Smith, Former Chaplain U.S. Air Force Retired and minister of Christ the Redeemer Church. Following the ceremony, guests were invited to a dinner and dance reception at the Hill Country Event Center.
The bride wore a delicately beaded strapless tulle gown complemented by a four tier cathedral length veil. Carrying a hand tied bouquet of cream and yellow roses, the bride was escorted and given in marriage by her brother-in-law Mr. Mike Brown of Thrall, TX. Miss Rose Heberling, of Pflugerville, TX, served as Maid of Honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Jeo Brown, sister of the bride, and Mrs. Evelyn Jeziel. Mr. Oscar Perez, U.S. Navy Retired, served as Best Man. Groomsmen were Mr. Carlo Cornelius, Mr. Robert Jeziel, and Mr. Jack Mendoza, U.S. Navy.
The flower girls were Miss Jezrie Lynne Brown and Miss Mia Isabella Perez. The ring bearer was Mr. Edward Louie Brown. Coin bearer, Mr. Oscar Perez III.
The bride received her bachelors in business administration from the University of Mindanao, Philippines. The groom is a Petty Officer in the United States Navy. In civilian world, he's a certified fiber optics technician.
The well-traveled couple opted to skip a honeymoon and settled down quietly in Round Rock, TX — for now. Hooyah!
