Guerra, Garcia wedding

Andrea Danielle Guerra and Joshua David Garcia were united in marriage on Saturday, March 13, 2010, at the First Christian Church in San Marcos. Reverend Bill Henderson, Senior Pastor, Northwest Hills United Methodist Church in Austin officiated.  Music for the marriage ceremony and reception was provided by the Arundel Ensemble String Quartet of Austin and Alexandra Bosier, vocalist, cousin of the bride. A formal dinner and dance followed at the Spring Lake Ballroom, Embassy Suites Hotel.

The bride is the daughter of Fred and Lolly Guerra of Kyle and granddaughter of Alice and John Rangel of San Marcos and Magdalena P. Garza and the late Fernando R. Garza of Corpus Christi. The groom is the son of Edward and Francis Garcia of San Marcos and grandson of Felipe and Catalina Sustaita and Isabel Garcia and the late Sefarino Garcia of San Marcos.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a gown designed by Mori Lee.  The gown featured a tulle overlay which created a sheer V-neckline with draped empire and waistline detail.  Vertical lace bands and elegant beading framed the A-line skirt with a chapel length train. 

Best Man was Matt Sustaita, cousin of the groom. Maid of Honor was Melanie Ramirez, cousin of the groom. Bridesmaids were Carrie Lynn Flores and Brittany Nicole Flores, cousins of the bride.  Junior Bridesmaid was Jocelyn Rizo, cousin of the bride. Groomsmen were Jacob Garcia, brother of the groom, and Jeremy Sustaita, cousin of the groom.  Flower Girls were Cassidy Layne and Cadence Layne, cousins of the bride, and Anessa Villarreal, cousin of the groom.  Ring Bearer was Dominick Rizo, cousin of the bride.  Serving as ushers were Allen Cruz and Zach Bosier, cousins of the bride, Chris Garcia, brother of the groom, and Stephen and Zach Sustaita, cousins of the groom.  Members of the House Party were Rose Torres, Nicci Lesak, Julie Garcia, and Amanda Denson.

The bride and groom are graduates of San Marcos High School.  The bride, a Registered Veterinary Technician, is employed at Schertz Animal Hospital.  The groom is employed at Gulf Business Forms.  After a honeymoon trip to Ocho Rios, Jamaica, the couple will reside in New Braunfels.
