Patty, a beautiful hospital clerk from Dallas, stole the heart of a young mechanic by the name of Virgil, new to the area from Arkansas. There in Dallas on a cool, brisk, Wednesday evening, Nov. 25, 1959, the couple became Virgil and Patty Burkhart.
Here we are now, 50 years, four children and 17 grandchildren later, offering up our best wishes to you. We want to thank you for your love, support and commitment to our family. We truly believe we are the most blessed to have you as parents, in-laws and grandparents. Roy, Brett, Shane and Deanna together with their families are sending Virgil and Patty to Dallas by train to commemorate their vows taken 50 years ago.
