Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth E. Burris of Lakewood, Washington, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Miss Jennifer Lynn Burris to Mr. Rudy D. González, son of Mr. and Mrs. Tómas F. González of San Marcos.
The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Medina Valley High School in Castroville and a 2006 graduate of Texas A&M; University, where she obtained her B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies. She is employed as a Kindergarten teacher for Hays CISD. Her fiancé is a 1996 graduate of Jack C. Hays High School in Kyle and a 2004 graduate of Texas State University, where he obtained his Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science with a minor in History.
He is employed as a History teacher and Athletic Coordinator for Hays CISD. The couple will marry June 19, 2010 at St. Anthony Marie de Claret Catholic Church in Kyle.
