Fun and charity
It’s a fun event for a good cause. Proceeds allow us to continue to invest in the young people of our community through college scholarships, supporting the Rotaract Club at Texas State University, and funding a character development program known as Early Act/First Knight at Crockett Elementary School.

The Rotary Club of San Marcos will hold its signature fundraising event on Feb. 18 at Dick’s Classic Car Garage from 6 to 10 p.m. Casino games, wine tasting, food and a cash bar will be offered. A silent auction will be held. Attendees can also buy chances to win other prizes.

Wines include: Angela Estate, 2013 Pinot Noir; Chateau Montelena Winery, 2013 Chardonnay; Jordan Vineyard & Winery, 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon; and Monte Rosso Vineyard, 2013 Red Zinfandel.

“It’s a fun event for a good cause. Proceeds allow us to continue to invest in the young people of our community through college scholarships, supporting the Rotaract Club at Texas State University and funding a character development program known as Early Act/First Knight at Crockett Elementary School,” club president Julie Hollar said.

Tickets are $35 per person. Tickets at the door will be available and come with $500 in playing chips. Early purchase from a Rotarian before the event offers  $750 in playing chips.
