E. Ardelia ‘Della’ Brennen

E. Ardelia "Della" Brennen passed away peacefully at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday Jan. 1, 2008.

She will be remembered for her contributions to the field of social work through her years of dedicated service to Southwest Texas State University, where she was awarded the title of Associate Professor Emeritus on Oct. 17 of 1995.

Brennen is survived by her loving niece Denise Hansen and her loving grandnieces, Tears Ann Grandjean and Michelle Monique Myers as well as numerous additional grand and great grandnieces and nephews and her long time friends the Sissoms.

Ms. Brennen will be missed by all whose life she touched with her artistic and creative mind and sharp whit and humor.

Aunt Della, we all love you and will miss you.

In lieu of flowers please send a donation to the San Marcos Animal Shelter on Brennen's behalf.

Gravesite service will take place at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 5 at Sunset Memorial Park in San Antonio.
