Daniel Lee Sandoval, a resident of San Marcos, was taken unexpectedly from his loving family Saturday, April 19, 2008 at the age of 17 in Adams, N.D., where he was visiting relatives.
He was born in Richmond, Va. on Jan. 24, 1991.
He is survived by his mother, Jessica Marie DeLaRosa; father, Gabriel Lee Sandoval; brother, Joshua Luis DeLaRosa and sister, Hope Marie Sandoval.
The family will receive friends Thursday, April 24 from 2 to 9 p.m. at Thomason Funeral Home, 2001 Ranch Road 12, San Marcos. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.
The funeral mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, April 25 at 10 a.m. at St. John's Catholic Church. Fr. Larry Stehling will officiate.
Interment will follow in Memory Lawn Memorial Park in Martindale.
Pallbearers include Javier Sandoval, Joe Sandoval, Joshua DeLaRosa, Ian Whitehead, James Montgomery and Angel Miranda.
