— Alfred G. Young Sr., a resident of San Marcos, passed away April 23, 2008 at the age of 66.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Phyllis Young of San Marcos; sons, Alfred Young Jr. and Timothy Young, both of San Marcos; mother, Elenora Young of Harlingen; brother, Paul Young and his wife Betty; sisters, Joanne Bartnesky and her husband Eddie, Florence Carmony, and Doris Legere and her husband Richard. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Young Sr.
The family will receive friends Friday, April 25 from 2 to 8 p.m. at Thomason Funeral Home, 2001 Ranch Road 12, San Marcos. A Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 26 at 11 a.m. in the San Marcos Cemetery.
