David Suarez Perez

David Suarez Perez, a resident of San Marcos, went peacefully to his eternal rest and was escorted by the Angels to be with our Father in Heaven on Oct. 7, 2008 at the age of 43.

Born Feb. 1, 1965 in San Marcos, Perez was a beloved son, brother and uncle. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Calletano and Maria Anita Perez and Evaristo and Trinidad Suarez.

Survivors include his parents Juan Perez and wife Gloria of San Marcos; brother Gilbert Perez and wife Judy Ferrer of San Marcos; sisters Frances P. Yocom and husband David of San Angelo, Yolanda P. Gonzales and husband Matthew of San Marcos, Estella P. Tello and husband Johnny of San Marcos, Rose P. Morales and husband Jamie of Kyle; nephews Anthony, Abraham, Joseph, Lee, Jonathon, Jeffrey and Nicolas and nieces Rachel, Amanda, Veronica and Christina.

Visitation will be today from 2 to 4 p.m. at Los Angeles Funeral Home, 300 Cheatham St., San Marcos. Recitation of Rosary will be at 7:30 p.m. at St. John’s Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, Oct. 11 at 11 a.m. at St. John’s Catholic Church. Rev. Father Larry Stehling will officiate. Interment will follow in San Juan Cemetery in Reedville.

Serving as pallbearers will be Tony Olivo, Jaime Morales, Johnny Tello, Abraham Perez, Joseph Perez and Anthony Perez.

Dad was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. The family invites those attending services to wear Dallas gear if they would lke.
