Rev. Pilar Salazar, 93, de San Marcos, fallecio el 2 de Novembre 2009. Nacio Mayo 7 de 1916 en Redwood, TX.

Sirvio al Senor y junto con su esposo que fallecio Enero 16, 1997, Rev. Ignacio Salazar, Sr. fundaron la Iglesia “La Nueva Jerusalem” en San Marcos. Le sobrevive su hijo, Ignacio Salazar, Jr. y nuera Rosa Salazar de San Marcos.

La familia Salazar recibira visita el Jueves, Noviembre 3, 2009 de las 3 pm hasta las 9 pm, con servicio a las 7pm en Thomason Funeral Home. Servicio funeral es el Viernes, dia 6 de Noviembre a las 10 am in la iglesia La Nueva Jerusalem. El entierro sera en el cemeterio Memory Lawn en Martindale.

Rev. Pilar Salazar of San Marcos passed away Nov. 2, 2009 at the age of 93. She was born in Redwood on May 7, 1916.

Rev. Salazar served the Lord along with her husband Rev. Ignacio Salazar who passed away on Jan. 16, 1997. Together they founded “La Nueva Jerusalem” Church in San Marcos. She is survived by her son, Ignacio Salazar, Jr. and wife Rosa Salazar of San Marcos.

Visitation will be Thursday, Nov. 5 from 3-9 p.m. with prayer service beginning at 7 p.m. at Thomason Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 6 at La Nueva Jerusalem Church in San Marcos with Pastor David Aguillon.

Interment will follow at Memory Lawn Cemetery in Martindale.
