Regina Cruz Lucio

Regina Cruz Lucio. resident of San Marcos, was called to her eternal rest and released from her earthly bonds to be with our Father in Heaven on Jan. 28, 2010 at the age of 94.

Born July 14, 1915, in San Marcos, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, she is preceded in death by her husband: Manuel Lucio, parents Benito and Francisca Cruz, brothers Rafael, Jose and Rafael V. Cruz, and sisters Andrea, Sarafina and Angelita Cruz, Valentina Solano, Carmen de La Cruz, Guadalupe Rodriguez, Maria Navarro, Francisca Castro and Petra Hernandez.

A true love of her family and friends, Regina will be dearly missed, but not forgotten in our hearts.

Survivors are step-daughter Lupe Rodriguez of San Marcos, nieces Martha Chapa and husband Joe of Martindale, Anita De La Cruz of San Marcos, Sylvia Barrios and husband Phil of San Marcos, Katy Ortiz and husband Moses of San Marcos, nephews Ronnie Rodriguez of San Marcos, Johnny Solano of San Marcos, special stepdaughter Lucy Perez of San Marcos and numerous nieces and nephews

Visitation is today from 2 to 7 p.m. at Los Angeles Funeral Home, 300 Cheatham St., San Marcos. Recitation of Rosary will be tonight at 7 p.m. at Los Angeles Funeral Chapel. Mass of a Christian Burial will be Monday at 10 a.m. at St. John's Catholic Church in San Marcos.

Rev. Father Larry Stehling will officiate. Interment will follow in Memory Lawn Memorial Park in Martindale.

Serving as pallbearers will be immediate family members.
