Billy Guy (Bill) Elliot, 63, of San Marcos, passed away Jan. 24, 2012 in San Marcos.
He was born March 18, 1948 in Odessa. He graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in Midland and attended Texas State Technical Institute in Waco.
Bill worked as an aviation technician in the Austin area for 28 years. Prior to that, he was an aviation technician in Mineral Wells.
He was preceded in death by his mother Vashti Willis; father Bill Elliot and brother J.D. Elliot.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years Joyce Elliot of San Marcos, daughter Melodie Ballesteros and husband Peter of Thorndale, son Roger Elliot and wife Dannette of Martindale, grandchildren Alisha Elliot of Seguin and Kelli Elliot of Martindale, great-grandchild Jocelyn Ballesteros of Thorndale, sister Tiffany Kovelan and husband Eddie of New Braunfels, brother Rodney Elliot and wife Terry of Midland, brother David Elliot and wife Ester of Midland and sister-in-law Linda Elliot of Fort Worth.
Memorial services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27 in the Chapel of Pennington Funeral Home, located at 323 N. Comanche St. in San Marcos.
