Linda Kay Scott

Linda Kay Scott, born Sept. 21, 1952 in San Marcos, was living in Dallas at the time of her death on Oct. 28, 2008.

She is survived by her parents Malcolm and Mildred Scott of San Marcos; brother, Ray Scott and wife Kathy of San Marcos and brother, David Scott and wife Martha of Plano. She will also be lovingly remembered by her nieces, Shanna Blair and husband Ryan, Kristen Scott, Caroline Scott and nephew, Bryson Scott.

Linda is a graduate of Southwest Texas State University with a B.S. in Interior Design and a Masters Degree in Science in Technology. While in college, Linda was a very proud Strutter captain and a member of Chi Omega Sorority. After college she moved to Houston where she owned a very successful interior design business.

Linda lived and practiced interior design in Houston, San Antonio, San Marcos and Dallas. She was a member of the Junior Service League of Dallas and she also enjoyed teaching interior design at the college level.

She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. today at Thomason Funeral Home, where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday. Interment will follow in the San Marcos Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the First Christian Church of San Marcos, 3105 Ranch Road 12, San Marcos, TX 78666
