Michael Anthony Avila, a resident of San Marcos, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Oct. 14, 2009 at the age of 19.
He was born March 30, 1990 to Gilbert and Deborah Flores in Seguin.
He is survived by his parents, grandparents, two brothers, Edward Avila and his girlfriend Ashley of San Marcos and Gilbert Christopher Flores, also of San Marcos. He is also survived by many uncles, aunts, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends today from 4 to 8 p.m. at Thomason Funeral Home, 2001 Ranch Road 12. A Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.
Funeral mass will be Monday, Oct. 19 at 10 a.m. at St. John's Catholic Church.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to Thomason Funeral Home, 396-2300.
