Francisco L. ‘Frank’ Mendoza Sr.

Francisco L. “Frank “ Mendoza Sr. of San Marcos passed away Oct. 30, 2009 at the age of 57.

He was born in San Marcos to parents Jose Tovar Mendoza, Sr. and Antonina Leija Mendoza.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, his father-in-law, Augustin Alonzo, Sr., brothers, Reymundo L. Mendoza, Juan L. Mendoza and sisters, Paula M. Aguilar and Elida M. Calderon.

He is survived by his wife Delia Alonzo Mendoza, mother-in-law Consuelo C. Alonzo, his son, Francisco Mendoza Jr. and wife Stefanie Mendoza, daughters, Cyndy Mendoza and fiancé Daniel T. Hurtado, Jr., Angela Hernandez and husband Pedro C. Hernandez, and Amy Elizabeth Mendoza and husband Ricardo Chavarria, brothers, Federico L. Mendoza, Domingo Mendoza, Marcelino L. Mendoza, Jose L. Mendoza, Jr., sisters, Anna M. Teneyuque, Lupe M. DeLuna, Augustina M. Villa and Mary Ann M. Gaitan.

He is also survived by his grandchildren Kristen Renee Hernandez, Destiny Noel Hernandez, Dureah Deleon, Marissa Lynn Chavarria, Jaiden NiCole Hernandez and Princeton Leonidas Mendoza.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be tonight at 7:30 p.m. at St. John's Catholic Church.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, Nov. 2 at 10 a.m. at St, John's Catholic Church with Fr. Larry Stehling celebrant.

Interment will follow in Memory Lawn Memorial Park, Martindale.
