Senovia Gonzales

Senovia Gonzales. a resident of Maxwell, was called to her eternal rest and released from her earthly bonds to be with our Father in Heaven on Feb. 19, 2010 at the age of 78.

Born Oct. 31, 1931 in Maxwell, she was a beloved  mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 41 years Andres Gonzales Sr., parents Benito and Ramona Baltierra, daughter Stella Gonzales, sons Felix and Andres Jr. Gonzales and brother Casamiro Baltierra.

A true love of her family and friends, Senovia will be dearly missed, but not forgotten in our hearts.

Survivors are daughters Lupe Ponce and husband Jesse of Redwood, Amparo Hernandez and husband Luis of Austin, Virginia Gonzales of Maxwell, Sylvia Mendez and husband Mike of Lockhart, Gloria Ojeda and husband David of Kyle, Irene Vasquez and husband John of Lockhart, Yolanda Ramos and husband Art of Maxwell, sons Gilbert Gonzales of Maxwell, Angel Gonzales and wife Mary of Lockhart, Andres Gonzales III of Maxwell, Anastacio Gonzales of Maxwell, Enrique Gonzales of Maxwell, Isidro Gonzales and wife Linda of La Mesa, Juan Gonzales and wife Crystal of Pflugerville, Jimmy Gonzales and wife Martina of Austin, sister Josefa Natal of Arizona,   32 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.                                   

She is also survived by                                           numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday, Feb. 22 from 2 to 7:30 p.m. at Los Angeles Funeral Home, 300 Cheatham St., San Marcos.  Recitation of Rosary will be Monday at 7:30 p.m. at Los Angeles Funeral  Chapel.  Mass of a Christian burial will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary in Martindale.

Rev. Father Victor Mayorga will officiate. Interment will follow in Memory Lawn Memorial Park in Martindale.

Serving as pallbearers wil be Jesse Ponce Jr., Joe Angel, Ramon and Desi Gonzales, John Vasquez Jr. and Joe Rodriguez Jr.

Honorary pallbearers wil be Kevin Gonzales, Rene Gonzales and Angelo Villegas
