Texas State has shown that it can fare well with its recent resurgence in Western Athletic Conference play.
Tonight, the Bobcats will see how they can play against nationally-ranked competition when No. 17 Baylor visits Bobcat Ballpark for a 6 p.m. game.
The Bobcats have won their last two WAC series after claiming two of three games last weekend against Louisiana Tech to improve to 4-5 in conference play. Texas State (9-28, 4-5 WAC) dropped the series opener then bounced back with consecutive wins, including Saturday’s 8-3 shelling to move into fifth place in the WAC standings.
