Michael and Asenette Hernandez, owners of Hays Co. BBQ, have always been about setting goals. When they worked in “Corporate America” as they call it, both had jobs where they that got to work early and stayed late. There were always new goals to meet and achieve.
Michael’s lifetime aspiration was not just to own a business, but a restaurant.
“I’ve always had a passion for cooking. I can cook any kind of food,” Michael said. “I figured why not put it to use in a restaurant? It was something that I’ve always dreamed about.”
