Take a practice swing, it helps

Prior to playing a shot in golf, you have to have a game plan and taking a practice swing helps you do just that.
Should you just step up and hit the ball you will probably get just that, a hit. You want to hit a golf shot so in order to better execute a good golf shot you will want to take a practice swing.
Try and visualize your shot and then take a smooth practice swing making sure that you take a divot, if the shot requires that, and hold your finish just like you plan on your full shot.
I will caution you that taking more than one practice swing will not only tire you out, but will annoy the group behind you.
So next time out, have a game plan, take a practice swing and when you hit your shot you should see better results.
Did you know Quail Creek driving range is opened to the public and has 2 practice putting/chipping greens and a practice sand bunker?
See you at the course.
