A number of gridders from the San Marcos Academy football team were honored as all-district selections for TAPPS District 3-4A.
Grabbing second-team honors were jnuior offensive lineman Michael Young and junior running back Anthony Richardson.
Second-team defensive selections included junior defensive lineman Michael Young and jujnior linebacker Yaz Gaylor.
Picking up honorable mention honors on offense and defense was Anthony Aguilar at running back and linebacker, while junior wide receiver Mark Hamm, junior linebacker Will Haskin and senior punter Keith Shimek were also honorable mention selections.
The Bears finished their first season under first-year head coach Brian Gaylor with a 3-7 record and were winless in district play.
