San Marcos — The Goodnight Middle School seventh-grade A team recently claimed a district championship by going undefeated in district play.
The team won the title by ending the season with a win over cross-town rival Miller Middle School.
The team broke a seventh-grade scoring record with a big win over Simon and guard Corey Hank broke the seventh-grade record for most points in a game with 28 points against Wallace.
