Burnet — The San Marcos Racin’ Rattlers swim team competed in the annual Hoot ‘N’ Holler meet held in Burnet this past weekend.
San Marcos continued its streak of solid swimming, picking up 28 ribbons and six Halloween-themed awards.
Aidan Dietz picked up awards for the 50 and 100 freestyle, while Joseph Enriquez earned a ribbon for the 50-meter backstroke.
DJ Olivo placed in the 50-meter butterfly, Anna Belyshava in the 50 breaststroke and Brandon Hill in the 200-yard Freestyle.
The next meet (the TISCA Invitational) is Friday and Saturday, Nov. 20-21.
The TISCA Invitational will be the beginning of the competitive season which ends with the state championships in February.
