Something got into the Texas State volleyball team after it lost to Central Arkansas at home Oct. 14.
The Bobcats haven’t lost since.
Texas State is on a six-match winning streak and host Lamar tonight at Strahan Coliseum. The Bobcats are sitting in second place in the West Division, while the Cardinals are a game behind in third.
Four of Texas State’s wins have come by way of sweep, as the Bobcats have taken out Nicholls State, Southeastern Louisiana, Stephen F. Austin and UT-Arlington in three sets.
Texas State beat the Mavs on the road Tuesday night as Mo Middleton led the Bobcats with 18 kills. Jessica Weynand posted a double-double with 13 kills and 13 digs.
First serve is set for 6:30 p.m. tonight.
