Britney Bolton Richey

Britney Bolton Richey is a Republican candidate currently seeking election for the position of County Treasurer. Richey has the full support in her political pursuits by her current employer, The Honorable Michele Tutton, current Hays County Treasurer whom has announced that she will not seek re-election in 2018. She was employed at the Hays County Treasurer’s office by the late Dorothy Sims, past Hays County Treasurer and has worked there for over 27 years.  Richey was born in Hays County and is a fourth-generation Hays County resident. She is certified to invest Hays County funds and has done so since 1996. She also currently serves Hays County on the Hays County Investment Committee as well as the Hays County Retiree Benefits Review Committee.
