Elaine Hanson Cardenas

Elaine Hanson Cardenas is a 2018 Democratic candidate seeking election to the position of Hays County Clerk.She has been a resident of Wimberley, Texas since 2014 and has served in many local community initiatives such as the Wimberley Community Civic Club and En Confianza. Prior to her residency in Wimberley, Cardenas was an executive in many Washington, DC “think tanks” for 30+ years working with clients such as the U.S. Department of Defense, the Veterans Administration, and more. Cardenas has a Master’s degree in Business Administration as well as a PhD in Cultural Studies.
