Francisco "Quico" Canseco

Francisco Raul "Quico" Canseco^,is a 2018 Republican candidate seeking election to the U.S. House of Representatives for the state of Texas to represent the 2st Congressional District of Texas.   Canseco resides in San Antonio and is an attorney, businessman and former U.S. Representative for Texas' 23rd Congressional District. Canseco began his legal career in 1975 as an associate attorney with Mann, Castillon, Fried and Kazen in Laredo, Texas; and then went on to own his own practice for five years. Conseco then joined the Person, Whitworth, Ramos, Borchers, and Morales firm in Laredo as a participating associate, and then he left that firm to become general counsel at Union National Bank of Texas until 1992. Conseco became counsel to Escamilla and Ponek, from 2003 until 2007. He became chairman of Texas Heritage Bancshares from 2001 until 2007. Canseco has been President/Director of FMC Developers, which includes Canseco Investments since 1988
