Joi Chevalier

Joi Chevalier is a 2018 Democratic candidate seeking election to the position of Comptroller for the state of Texas. She is an honors graduate of the Culinary Arts Program in Austin, Texas and has a Master of Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin.  Chevalier is the founder and CEO of the Cook’s Nook in Austin, Texas which is a culinary incubator providing shared production space and business development for Austin-area artisans, caterers and cooks at early stages of their careers. She was also a manager for Dell Computer Corporation in 2006 and became senior product manager and strategist in 2009 until he left in 2015.
