Mark Jones is a 2018 Republican candidate seeking re-election to the position of County Commissioner Pct. 2. Jones resides in Kyle and is currently serving his second term as Hays County Commissioner for Precinct 2.He was a two-term trustee and vice president of the Hays CISD School Board prior to his election as county commissioner. Jones has also served on the Board of Directors for the Plum Creek Conservation District.
