Michael "Mike" Toth

Michael “Mike” Toth is a 2018 candidate seeking election for the position of Justice, Third Court of Appeals District, Place 6. He is currently special counsel on Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton's executive team and is also a Major in the U.S. Army Corps. Toth also served on active duty as a military attorney in the U.S. Marine Corps and is currently active in the reserves. He is a fellow of the Alliance Defending Freedom Blackstone and the Claremont Institute John Marshall and Abraham Lincoln. Toth clerked for the Honorable Edith H. Jones of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and also for the Honorable Ursula Ungaro of the Southern District of Florida. He is currently on the Steering Committee of the Federalist Society’s Austin Lawyers Chapter and a member of the American Enterprise Institute’s Leadership Network. Mike earned his Bachelor's in Business Administration from Stanford University as well as his Master's degree and  J.D. from the University of Virginia.
