Scott Field

Scott Field is a 2018 Republican candidate seeking election to the position of Justice, 3rd Court of Appeals District, Place 2. He is a native Texan born in Houston, Texas. Justice Field was elected to the Third Court of Appeals in November 2012. Field began his career by serving as a law clerk on the Texas Supreme Court, for the Honorable Raul Gonzalez. Field then began private practice at Baker Botts where he practiced until 2001. He then co-founded York, Keller & Field, L.L.P., before eventually forming The Field Law Firmin 2007. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Texas A&M University, where he graduated summa cum laude. Justice Field received his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law, where he graduated with honors.
