Do you plan to do your holiday shopping in stores or online this year?

According to a PEW Research study conducted in 2016, 80 percent of Americans are online shoppers, but 64 percent of Americans still prefer buying from brick-and-mortar stores.

The study stated that 78 percent of Americans think it’s important to be able to try a product out in person and 77 percent want advice from people they know. But 45 percent of American shoppers still use their phones to look up reviews or compare prices while in stores.

Those that shop online, say that the pricing is more competitive and there are more options for products. Those who prefer to shop in stores, say that seeing a product in person is important, as well as, supporting the local businesses and economy.
