Aaron's donates to the Boys & Girls Club

Aaron’s, Inc. unveiled $5,000 worth of furniture, from Aaron’s flagship store of the future in San Marcos, for the teen Keystone Club at the Mitchell Unit of the San Marcos Boys & Girls Club on Oct. 17.

“Aaron’s is so excited to provide local teens with furniture and technology from our newest, state-of-the-art store, which we opened in San Marcos earlier this year, bringing first of its kind technology and the ultimate customer experience to the lease-to-own retail industry," Matt Hall, of the San Marcos Aaron's, said. "We strongly believe in this community and look forward to serving residents here for many years. Thanks to Boys & Girls Clubs of America, I see bright futures for generations to come in San Marcos and across the country.”

Aaron's also donated 2 TVs, a PlayStation 4 with a virtual reality headset and a Nintendo Switch.

In March, Aaron’s unveiled its début “Store of the Future” in San Marcos, bringing first of its kind technology and the ultimate customer experience to the lease-to-own retail industry.

In September, Aaron’s announced the renewal of a three-year, $5 million partnership supporting the Keystone Club, BGCA's premier national teen leadership and character program.

Members of the Boys & Girls Club have their first go at the new virtual reality headset.

The outstanding commitment of Aaron's, Inc. to Boys & Girls Clubs of America has contributed to significant growth in teen membership at clubs across the nation. Additionally, Aaron’s partnership has provided thousands of youth with access to Keystone Club, a premier teen leadership experience.

Aaron’s, Inc. is unwavering in its support of Keystone Clubs, where teens ages 14 to 18 participate in activities focused on academic success, career preparation and community service. In the first three years of Aaron’s partnership, over 400 new Keystone Clubs were chartered.

Aaron’s employees have updated furniture and technology at teen centers in 31 cities and counting.
